Wedding Photography checklist
Wedding Photography checklist – A little something to help you when deciding on which wedding photographer you are going to hire.
Wedding Photography checklist #1.
You get what you pay for.
Wedding Photography checklist #1. You get what you pay for. Pretty much what it says! You can’t pay the price of a can of lemonade and expect to get a bottle of the finest champagne. That’s kinda what you get when you pay for a photographer. A really good photographer, who has experience, knowledge and the now how to deal with 100+ guests…. And the weather…. And have all the back up gear in case of any emergency imaginable, inevitably will come at a price.
You pay for much more than you actually see. They will have all the necessary insurances. They will have back ups of everything, just in case! They will have all the skill to capture you, your family and guests and your day, without you even being aware of them for most of the time. They will fit in seamlessly with your guests. They will know all the best places to take your photos using the best light they have to work with. They will have all of this experience at their fingertips. That is what you are paying for and it’s worth remembering not to skimp.
Wedding Photography checklist #2.
Love their style.
Wedding Photography checklist #2. Love their style. You need to really love their style of photography. Fall in love with what they produce. After all, you will be the subject of their future work! If they have a bright and breezy style and that’s what you love, then you are a perfect match.
If you want a really traditional photo style for your wedding photos, then look for a photographer who produces traditional images from their weddings.
If you are looking for natural, emotive images then look for a photographer who creates the kind of images.
Fall in love with their style and you won’t go far wrong!
Wedding Photography checklist #3.
Wedding Photography checklist #3. Like them! Let’s be honest… your photographer is going to be in close proximity to you for most of the day!! You’ll want to choose someone that you actually like!! Spending the most important day of your life with someone who is bossy and you don’t really like is the last thing that you want. You want someone who will get the best out of you. Who will join in when the time is right. Who will help you rather than annoy you! It’s definitely something to consider when choosing your wedding photographer.
