Mary-Ann & James' Wedding at The Ashes

Mary-Ann and James finally got to celebrate their barn wedding at The Ashes, in Endon after two covid postponements. You will notice that Mary-Ann's shoes has the original date on the bottom. I nice reminder of what the date should have been!

What was really lovely though, was the addition of their beautiful little girl, who of course wouldn't have been a part of their amazing barn wedding had they got married on their original date. Oh how perfect.

They met at university but didn't get together for two years. They finally became a couple after they graduated and have been together for 13 years. James proposed to Mary-Ann in Sydney at the botanical gardens opposite the Sydney opera house and harbour bridge which is one of Mary-Ann's favourite places. I mean, how romantic? Nice one James.

Barn Wedding

They chose their venue wisely, opting for a barn wedding it could only be at The Ashes! (One of my favourite venues in the country!) They sure did make the most of it. Getting ready in the dressing room and couples suite. Using the very best there is when it came to the flowers. I'm talking of course about The Topiary Tree Florist. Just exquisite. The musician, Matt Baxter was fantastic. And to finish off proceeding, they had Sound Solutions. I do love a Dream Team Wedding. (#dreamteam)

Flower crowns, Jimmy Choos, Grace Loves Lace dress, black tie for the men. Giant Jenga, delicious food and an amazing cake.... ah, it truly was a dreamy wedding at The Ashes barns.

Take a look at their fabulous wedding day at The Ashes, enjoy!
