Top Five UK Wedding Venues
I thought it would be a good idea to blog about my top five UK Wedding Venues to work at. So here goes!
In no particular order…
The Ashes Barns Country House Wedding Venue.
Just like when you have children and you’re not supposed to have a favourite, unashamedly, The Ashes comes in as probably my favourite wedding venue ever. This is because I’ve worked here for the longest time. Pretty much since it’s opening around 12 years ago. I absolutely love this venue. It has everything. Views, beautiful barns, amazing grounds. As well as all that, it’s exclusive use, pet friendly and it has no corkage.
The onsite accommodation for you and your closest family is stunning. And the breakfast room is a fabulous place to start your first full day as a married couple with your nearest and dearest.
Foxtail Barns Wedding Venue
Now, you may be wondering how a wedding venue that hasn’t even been built yet can make it to my list… Well, let me reassure you, from past experience, I know that this is going to be one absolutely amazing wedding venue.
The same team who are building this venue are the same team behind the Ashes, The Mill Barns and Pendrell Hall. That is how I know that it’s going to be one heck of a venue. I cannot wait to shoot a wedding here.
Hanbury Wedding Barns
I love what Adrian and his wife (and their team) have created here. This exclusive use venue in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside is just beautiful (and every carefully thought out).
Last year I was fortunate to be a part of a styled shoot here (courtesy of Wedding Care with Lynsey Claire) where I got an idea of how a wedding would work and I was so impressed. Everything has been thought through and your day will flow beautifully. They have worked so hard and it really is a credit to all that hard work.
The Mill Barns Exclusive use Waterfront Wedding Venue
Continuing on with my top five UK wedding venues, The Mill Barns has fast become one of my second homes and I love it here! Again the Ensarb team came up trumps. This purpose built wedding venue was built from the ground up and what a great job they did. Purpose built for weddings, it really ticks every box. For a wedding photographer it’s an absolutely dream.
Outside there are numerous places to wander and get some gorgeous photos of you both. The best bit though, if it rains it really doesn’t matter. The inside is incredible and has no end of photographic opportunities.
Finally in my round up of top five UK wedding venues, is by no means least, Pendrell Hall. I love this venue. It gives so much personality to your wedding day. The Love is Enough dressing room is stunning. The suites that you get to stay in are amazing. The Ballroom where you partake in your first meal, the wedding breakfast, is spectacular.
The grounds offer numerous places to have your portraits and for your guests to play lawn games or just hang around with their drinks, chatting. They even have to vintage bandstand where you can have an outdoor ceremony if the weather is on your side. This really is a fabulous place to celebrate your day.
You can see some of my previous Pendrell weddings in the galleries page.
