Danielle & Ryan's Autumn Wedding at The Ashes

Seriously, an Autumn Wedding at The Ashes is a spectacular sight. The trees that line the driveway look stupendous for about 1 and a half days of the year. (Well that's what it seems like anyway.) It's probably more but it is still all too swift. It seems like one gust and all the leaves just float away on the breeze to make way for bare branches. But, for Danielle & Ryan, they were at their very best, thank goodness!

I know it's a cliche that we're always talking about the weather, but I can't ignore that fact that we did indeed have rain. We had all the loveliness of the autumn leaves along with the autumn rain showers. Did it put a dampener on proceedings? Of course not! We just got the umbrellas out and carried on in good old fashioned British style. You gotta love the British weather.

An Ashes Wedding

An Ashes Wedding isn't an Ashes Wedding without the #DreamTeam consisting of The Topiary Tree florist, Sound Solutions, (Stott Weddings of course) and Jenkinsons caterers. What a team. The magician from The Topiary Tree produced the most beautiful florals for Danielle. The bouquet, the buttonholes, the way they dress the venue, all adds to the beauty of an autumn wedding at The Ashes.

The Cake

I've seen a few cakes now from Amerton Farm Cakes and they blow me away every single time. They really are so beautiful. I know the flowers provided by The Topiary Tree help to make it look spectacular but the cake is still amazing. They are worth checking out if you're on the look out for a wedding cake.
