AMAZING ASHES WEDDING – ENDON, STAFFORDSHIRE – JEN AND STE

JEN & STE’S FUN FILLED ASHES WEDDING

When Jen and Ste first got in touch with me about their Ashes wedding in Endon, Staffordshire, I was so thrilled – they were planning a full on countryside wedding with an intimate ceremony, food and drink and even a Gin bar. Jen and Ste seemed like the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I began the morning at The Ashes, where the girls were getting ready, and it was so much fun, because all the girls were there. Jen wore Justin Alexander and Ste wore a Ted Baker suit and they looked so perfect.

The wedding

The wedding took place in the West Barn, and was a traditional intimate ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone, and then the party began.

The afternoon

The wedding reception took place at the amazing Ashes, which is the best venue in the county. It was wonderful.

It was a bright and sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed GnTs, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the afternoon is all of them!

During the reception they were covered in confetti, which everyone loved. For the meal they had proper wedding grub, and it was absolutely delicious. After the meal there were a few speeches, then the couple had their first dance and the party got started. They also had the fab LOVE letters, which the kids loved!

Jen and Ste met when they were 18, 13 years ago.Ste proposed in Edinburgh 3 years ago. He put the ring in a glass of champagne in a restaurant by the castle.
