Q. What is required to book our date?

A. To secure your wedding date, we require a non refundable booking fee of £500 (2012 weddings) and a signed contract.  The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding.  Please contact us to check availability for your date.

Q. How many images are usually provided?

A. When we photograph a wedding we do not limit the number of images to be taken.  We take as many as is necessary to capture the story of the day.  Most weddings will have at least 500-700 images delivered.

Q. Will I receive all my images on a disc?

A. Yes, along with your own personal licence to print are included in all our wedding packages.

Q. Are your images retouched?

A. We carefully retouch every image that you will receive on your disc.  Images that are chosen for your album are retouched further before the album is professionally produced.

Q. What is your turnaround time after the wedding?

A. 1-2 weeks: a blog post showcasing some of our favourite shots
4 weeks: All edited images posted to you on a disc
8 weeks: Initial album draft sent to you
9-10 weeks: Final album approval
14-18 weeks: Album delivered

Q. What are your albums like that you provide?

A. All the albums we provide are custom designed by ourselves and are beautifully crafted by Queensberry of New Zealand.   Each album is unique to you.  To view samples of our albums click here.

Q. How many weddings do you shoot a year?

A. To maintain the quality of images and albums that we provide to all our clients, we limit ourselves to only 25-30 weddings per year.

Q. Do you have a second photographer available?

A. Yes, Stott Weddings consists of one main photographer, Deborah, and she works with a second photographer on each wedding.  Having a second photographer gives us full coverage of both the bride and groom in their preparations and it also provides a second perspective in the images captured.  Our second photographer will stay up until the speeches and then Deborah remains to cover the first dance.

Q. Do you travel for weddings?

A. Yes, we are available nationwide and internationally.

Q. Do you have photography insurance?

A. Yes.  We can provide a proof of insurance certificate if your venue requires it.
