What is your style of photography? – Being a storytelling, creative photographer, I like to record weddings in the way that is authentic and true. I achieve this by capturing all of those special moments that happen in the blink of an eye. I am there to capture the true emotion of the day. The only time that I intervene is for the Bride and Groom shots. This will help you to just enjoy the magic of your day with your family and friends.
Do you do group photos? – Shouting people’s names for them to come and stand in a line isn’t really how I approach wedding photography. You are hiring me because of my ability to create awesome images of your family and friends and everything that you have brought to your day. Not having to wait around for people to return from the rest rooms also means that you are free to chat with your guests, which, lets face it, is what you would prefer to be doing. (I will do a approx 3-5 groups of immediate family). My approach isn’t for everyone – those who want a long list of groups shots, but, it is for those who want to enjoy their day, spend time with those most important to them and who want beautiful, imaginative imagery and amazing memories from their day.
What is an engagement shoot? – The idea of an engagement or ‘pre wedding’ shoot is partly for us to get to know each other before your big day, and partly for you to have some lovely images of the both of you. Plus its nice to take some time out from all the wedding planning and have some quality time just with each other. We can do the shoot anywhere in and around the city, a park, The Monkey Forest! anywhere you like! The price for the engagement shoot is £350 and you will be able to download the images to use as you wish. There may be a small travel fee for outside Staffordshire.
What does your coverage include? – Me as your photographer for the day, from getting ready in the morning, ceremony, reception drinks, speeches and dancing, the entire experience. There are no limits on time so you don’t have to worry about me missing a thing. A second photographer can be hired for a fee of £500.
Do we need to feed you? – The short answer is no. It is left entirely at your discression. Although, most of my couples do provide a hot meal, which is always most welcome.
When will we get to see our images? – I aim to give you a couple of sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding but the real work happens over the next 4-6 weeks, where I artistically master your images to the highest degree possible.
How many images will we receive? – My goal is to tell your story, the way you want to remember it, beautifully, fully and completely. With this in mind, you will receive approximately 500+ images depending on the nature of your day. They will arrive on your doorstep beautifully packaged and on a USB stick ready for your to print to your hearts content.
Can you hold a date for us? – I often get enquiries for the same date so whoever pays the booking fee first gets the date. Contact me today to book your date.
What happens if you’re ill on the day? – Only a very serious illness would keep me from being there, but if it were to happen, I would do my very best to sort out a replacement photographer for you. I have a large network of photographers that I know who I could call on should the need arise.
So what happens now? – If you think you want to book me for your wedding but you want to meet me first, then just get in touch and we can arrange a meeting. I usually meet with couples at my studio in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, we can have a cuppa and long chat about all your plans for your day and what you would want from me.
